Someone left this much copper with a soldered hose bib. Bent the copper at the concrete/brick. Now I have to figure out how to cut the copper at the break and add a new fixture. (I'm not a plumber)

Never caulk the toilet on the floor. When the rain goes bad, it holds the water in the subfloor and then the whole floor rots and you’ll never know it. Always leave a little room for water to come out.

I got a double book story! I was with another plumber because I'm an apprentice and we went to this call about a shower valve. We go upstairs, give the guy a quote, tells us hes gonna get a second opinion. Walk out of the house and another plumbing van shows up. If one spot develops a hole, there is always another place that's also weak,sometimes, it's better to replace the whole section.
